The Briarcrest Neighborhood Association is sad to report that, due to Covid-19 restrictions, our annual Briarcrest picnic normally held in August at Hamlin Park has been cancelled for 2021.

Instead, the BNA invites you to a new event that will allow for appropriate social distancing while still connecting our neighborhood. It’s the –

BRIARCREST NEIGHBORHOOD RUMMAGE SALE!

SATURDAY, AUGUST 28, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Where: Many Briarcrest homes…maybe yours?

Cost: Free for Briarcrest neighbors to participate

Publicity and digital & paper maps provided by the BNA

Start setting aside stuff now that you’d like to sell (or give away) at this neighborhood multi-multi-family sale! This is your opportunity to “declutter ruthlessly.” Enjoy selling and buying!

Remember: one person’s junk is another’s brand new treasure!

Come discover your ‘hood and meet some of your neighbors!

If you’d like to participate as a seller, contact Alice Keller, briarcrestalice@gmail.com. Provide your street address and a list of the items you’ll have for sale – e.g., clothing (give size range), toys, books for kids or adults, DVDs, tools, kitchen items, furniture, etc.

The BNA will handle all publicity and we’ll send you guidelines and advice by email as we get closer to the Rummage Sale date.
